UPDATES

  • The journal is expanding to accommodate current issues, clinical perspectives, conference and workshop reports, patient vignettes, medical and health news and short communications in various fields of medicine and surgery. We would like to encourage authors to send in articles in these categories.
  • We would also like to invite scholars to contribute to a CME column which would make the journal more functional to our junior colleagues globally.
  • We welcome suggestions and ideas on how to improve the quality of the journal.
  • We would like to apologize to authors for the delay in the publication process. This is largely due to the peer reviewer process. We will continue to strive to overcome this challenge.

WAJM VOLUME  38, NUMBER  8, AUGUST, 2021

Listed below are the articles for the August 2021 Journal edition. The free abstract-text content of this edition can be assessed on PubMed Central, EMBASE, Excerpta Medica, African Index Medicus, among others.
