From The Desk of The Editor-in-Chief

OCTOBER  2022 NEWSLETTER

Dear Colleagues,

It is a pleasure to present the Journal newsletter for October 2022. This edition of the journal is particularly special because it coincides with the 46th West African College of Physicians Annual General Scientific Meeting (AGSM) holding in Ghana between 31st October to 2nd November, 2022 and the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), to be held in Egypt from 6th to 18th November, 2022.

The West African College of Physicians is one of the parent bodies of the West African Journal of Medicine. Featured in this edition of WAJM is an editorial written by distinguished scholars and Editors-in-Chief of reputable journals, which will also be published by about three hundred journals in the world.

The sole aim is to call the attention of global leaders and stakeholders and to bring to fore front the impact of the climate crisis and the associated consequences.

We will be presenting the editorial and the articles in this edition for free download on the website as we commemorate these events.
